Since earning a Chartered Accountant designation in 2006, my career has taken me to interesting places around the world, from Alberta to Australia...even Albania (yes, Albania!).
I have a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Regina and a Master of Professional Accounting degree from the University of Saskatchewan. I am trained in Lean Six Sigma, Change Management and Continuous Improvement.
I thrive in environments where there are problems to be solved. Senior executives look to me to parachute into various departments, whether it's to improve existing processes or implement new ones.
I eat strategy for breakfast, but with the nickname Eagle Eye,
I have a keen eye for detail and can quickly spot risks, errors and inefficiencies, and provide recommendations and project plans
to implement improvements.
Whether it's designing and executing a
Third-Party Risk Management, Supplier Audit or Governance program, implementing new systems and tools,
or streamlining an Internal Controls framework
I can be counted on as an organized, efficient and diligent
senior leader and project manager.
The majority of my project work has been focused on the
Source-to-Pay cycle within Finance, Supply Chain Operations
and Strategic Sourcing departments, more specifically
in the areas of policy development and implementation, reporting automation, optimizing ERP systems
and reducing manual efforts.
