For a Canadian Oil and Gas exploration and production company, conducted an internal audit evaluating the company's end-to-end RFP processes.
Worked with key stakeholders in the Procurement organization to understand current state processes to initiate, execute and evaluate RFPs, analyzed gaps between current state and industry best practices, and provided recommendations for improvement to senior leadership.
For one of Canada's largest integrated Energy companies, acted as Project Manager for a Procure-to-Pay process alignment across the North American, International and Offshore E&P Business Units. This included understanding current process and technology gaps to the centralized process at head office and presenting a gap closure plan which was successfully adopted by senior leadership.
For one of Canada's largest Telecommunications providers, reduced volume of internal controls by identifying duplicate and redundant non-key controls, in tandem with creating new controls required for an Oracle Cloud implementation. Resulted in a
10% reduction in the volume of internal controls in Year One of the project.
For one of Canada's largest Telecommunications providers, implemented a Supplier Risk Management program for Strategic Sourcing organization, which oversaw $2.5 billion in annual spend across over 7,500 suppliers. This included implementing the people, processes and technology required to support the program, from the development of an internal risk assessment and mitigation reporting tool, implementation of two external market intelligence tools, process documentation, training to end users and quarterly reporting to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
For one of the world's largest fertilizer producers, restructured the Supplier Audit program by transitioning to a risk-based audit approach, re-developing and implementing internal processes and templates, and collaborating with business unit Legal teams to update contract language to strengthen the company's audit rights. These changes resulted in a 48% increase in actual recoveries in Year One of the program and exceeded recoveries targets by 80% in Year Two.
