One of my biggest passions outside of work is gardening!
I absolutely love growing my own vegetables
and tending to my flower garden in the summer months.
I believe in sustainability and with rising food costs
and instability in food supply chains,
growing your own food is the perfect way to
save money and trust your food sources.
To help others learn how to grow food in any space,
I created The Herb and Farm in 2024.

Meet The Curvy Shop
I am passionate about championing local and female-owned businesses. So I evolved my passions into my own company and joined the exciting world of entrepreneurship!
Meet The Curvy Shop, an online boutique focused on plus-size fashion. I operated The Curvy Shop from 2018 to 2023,
providing a curated collection of only the
highest quality size-inclusive brands, helping to take
the guesswork out of shopping online.
I started The Curvy Shop out of my own frustration
trying to find fashionable, higher-quality plus-size clothing. Whether it was locally, globally or online, there was a major gap when it came to modern options for a professional woman,
and I set out to solve the problem.
In February 2019, I took my idea of launching a plus-size boutique in Calgary to the market and entered the inaugural ATB Financial Build Her Business crowdfunding competition. Throughout the month of February, we competed against 20 female-led businesses from across Alberta and set a target of crowdfunding $5000 towards our start-up costs. The plus-size community rallied behind our cause and on March 8, 2019, International Women’s Day, The Curvy Shop was announced
as the winner of the competition!
The Curvy Shop in the Media
Through crowdfunding, I more than doubled my initial fundraising goal. I used these funds to establish The Curvy Shop's e-commerce platform and the company's legal structure.
The Curvy Shop's online store launched in June 2019,
featuring size-inclusive designs from Eloquii,
Good American, Madewell and more, in addition to
personal shopping and styling services.
